The Process

Characterised by an open ended process of experimentation and mistake. The pieces are continuous works in progress that consist of multiple layers of mixed media that create a three dimensional, sculptural surface.

Statement from the artist

“I’ve always been intrigued by the activity of mark making and the emotional response that it can evoke

in both the mark-maker and the audience. Colour, visual balance, texture and form have always been the fundamental tools that I’ve worked with throughout my time as a designer and these are the very same elements I am working with now but without the constraints of physical human interaction which was fundamental to much of my industrial design work.”
